ENSAYO: ¿Por qué soy digna de entrar a esta universidad?

Soy Carolina Mafla Tangarife,nací el 20 de noviembre de el año 2002, me crié en un buen ambiente familiar donde se encargaron de formarme como una persona de valores, una mujer responsable, humilde, tolerante, amorosa, fuerte, perseverante y solidaria. Desde entonces he aprendido la importancia del conocimiento y los nuevos aprendizajes que he adquirido cada día y la enorme importancia que tiene en nuestras vidas. Pues desde muy pequeña siempre mostré el interés por el estudio, ocupando así el primer puesto desde que comencé mi etapa de formación escolar, con esto logré demostrar la calidad y responsabilidad de mis trabajos. Pero como todo niño pequeño también me equivoqué y gracias a esto comprendí la diferencia entre lo que está bien y está mal, de esta manera fue como comencé a formarme como persona.

Considero que estoy en las capacidades para estudiar en la  Universidad de Harvard de los Estados Unidos, no sólo por mi excelente registro académico sino también porque aprendí que el rencor y la envidia son sólo un veneno, que nunca debo pretender ser más que otros y mucho menos por debajo porque tampoco soy menos, que no necesito andar humillando a alguien por lo que es o por lo que hace, sé que debo respetar y valorar a una persona sin importar qué. Esto es lo que me permite socializar y convivir día a día con tantas personas.

Comprendí que vivimos en un mundo lleno de ignorancia, de pobreza, de maldad y de pereza; donde las personas vacías abundan y las inteligentes y perseverantes cada vez parecen disminuir, donde los jóvenes se preocupan más por las fiestas, el sexo y el opio, una sociedad llena de prejuicios y estereotipos, donde parece importar más el físico que la inteligencia, dónde sólo se preocupan por la diversión de hoy y olvidan el mañana, donde hay mujeres que poseen más senos que cerebro y en lo personal estoy cansada de esto, quiero demostrar la capacidad intelectual y que no necesito de un buen físico para estar bien, sólo necesito, más conocimiento y estoy completamente segura que  en esta universidad lo podré lograr, considerando que esta es una de las mejores universidades a nivel mundial con esto podré continuar con mi proceso de formación y cumplir todas esas metas que algún día alguien llegó a decir que no cumpliría. Soy alguien diferente que sólo busca ser mejor cada día.

ESSAY: ¿Why am I worthy to enter the university?

I´'m Carolina Mafla Tangarife, I was born on November 20th 2002, I grew up in a  family full of love, which teach me a lot of values as responsibility, humbleness, tolerance, and solidarity. Then thank to them I have learned hoy important is learning something new everyday and how it can be so valuable in our life. Since I was very young I always showed interest in studying, thus occupying the first position since I began my school education, with this I was able to demonstrate the quality and responsibility of my work. But like all small children I was also wrong and thanks to this I understood the difference between what is right and what is wrong, this is how I began to form myself as a person.

I consider that I am in the capacities to study at Harvard University in the United States, not only because of my excellent academic record but also because I learned that rancor and envy are only a poison, that I should never pretend to be more than others and less below because I am not less, I do not need to walk humiliating someone for what he is or what he does, I know I must respect and value a person no matter what. This is what allows me to socialize and coexist day after day with so many people.

I understood that we live in a world full of ignorance, poverty, evil and laziness; where empty people abound and intelligent and persevering ones seem to diminish every time, where young people worry more about parties, sex and opium, a society full of prejudices and stereotypes, where physics seems to matter more than intelligence, where only worry about the fun of today and forget tomorrow, where there are women who have more breasts than brain and I am tired of this, I want to demonstrate intellectual ability and I do not need a good physique to be well, I just need , more knowledge and I am completely sure that in this university I will be able to achieve it, considering that this is one of the best universities in the world. With this I will be able to continue with my training process and fulfill all those goals that someday someone came to say that no I would comply I'm someone different who just wants to be better every day.

Teoría  de la evolución de Charles Darwin

Estoy de acuerdo con la teoría que propone Darwin porque en base a toda la evidencia y los argumentos es lógico en lo que él plantea. Para la gran mayoría el ser humano nace de un ser omnipotente, este no es mi caso, creo en la teoría que él plantea; Que el origen de la especie proviene de una evolución biológica, se ha demostrado que los microorganismos existen no solo en la Tierra, sino también en los otros planetas, lo que me hace pensar que puede existir vida y que se creará siempre que este en las condiciones necesarias para sobrevivir y teniendo en cuenta todas las pruebas que han encontrado acerca de cómo un simio se convirtió en un hombre, me parece que es demasiado creíble, en el momento en que Darwin plantea el cambio en las especies lo encuentro demasiado interesante, el solo hecho de que podamos imaginar cómo llegamos aquí y lo curioso que puede ser la gran similitud que tenemos con los simios: por la forma en que se comportan, sus características físicas, su propia conciencia y la gran inteligencia que poseen estos animales. , hacen creer que esta teoría es cierta.
